Nací en Madrid, donde me licencié en Bellas Artes (con doble especialización en Restauración y Pintura) y me doctoré con Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

​Desde mi época de estudiante me apasionan las técnicas y procedimientos pictóricos antiguos y contemporáneos. Pude completar mi formación al respecto gracias a una beca de investigación FPI (Madrid, Roma y Florencia) y otra Postdoctoral que culminó con una patente y varias publicaciones.
​
Mi obra tiene un gran trasfondo conceptual combinado con un profundo conocimiento técnico. Expreso mi amplio universo plástico elaborando mis propios materiales a base de resina epoxi combinada con pigmentos, cargas, papeles nepalíes y africanos, fibra de vidrio y con diversos elementos innovadores.

He participado en más de 100 exposiciones de arte, recibiendo varios premios. Mis obras han viajado por todo el mundo desde España hasta Nueva York, Londres, Portugal, Francia, Italia, Irán, China, etc.

Compagino mi labor como artística con actividades docentes. Soy Profesora de Máster en Técnicas Contemporáneas en la Escuela Superior de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales de Madrid y Titular en Técnicas Clásicas. Esto me permite estar a la vanguardia en mi ámbito y me facilita experimentar nuevas fórmulas pictóricas que incluyo en mi proceso creativo.
