Tribus

Sculptures conceived as paintings supported on double supports. They are intentionally flat and can be seen from the front and back. Their structure is based on the invention patent (P9500808), on rigid-inert supports, registered at the time by the Complutense University of Madrid. They are lightweight, highly stable, easy to handle and transport. 

 

I create them as isolated entities or as Tribes of interacting characters.

 

Their realization process has to do with "found art".  I wander and collect various objects that I have incorporated into the sculptures. With each find I have fun like a child who finds unexpected treasures.
